When attending us yesterday you indicated some difficulties arising to the Officers of HMS SWAN having lost their Commissions and Warrants when the SWAN was lost in the earthquake in Jamaica. We direct you to pay the Officers the [qualities], it shall appear to you, by the Commanders Certificates that they served in the said ship.
