In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Her Majesty in a Order in Council on the 6th inst. declared it necessary for the timely provision of sea Victuals be made for 30,000 men for 13 lunar months, commencing 1st. January 1693. We direct you to give orders to the Commissioner of Victualing to timely acquire the said victuals for Sea Service and distribute them to the several Ports vis: London 17000 men; Portsmouth 6000; Plymouth 4200; Dover 2200; Harwich 200; Kinsale 300; Liverpool 50; Milford 50.
