In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Ref. you letter of the 12 Inst. Concerning the Danish vessel brought into Portsmouth laden with East Country plank, which commodity is much wanted for the Navy here. We have directed the Commissioner of Prizes to cause the said plank to be considered a prize, to be delivered into the stores there. We direct you , in case it not be adjudged a prize, to purchase the same on the best terms you can.
