In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Commissioners of the Admiralty observing the muster of the Clerk of the Cheque at Sheerness between the 2nd and 8th of this month is mentioned 183 of the ROYAL WILLIAM and ST ANDREWS men to be borne in the Boyne but only 43 men mustered. You are required to make enquiries why so many men were to be borne on the Boyne and why so few mustered.
