In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to pay the Commanders and other Officers of HM Ships going to the West Indies the wages due to them and their Servants for service in other ships, not withstanding that they may not have passed their accounts nor made it appear that have performed their Instructions. We do also direct you to cause the Groats and wages of Mr Stedman now Chaplain in the RESOLUTION to be paid for his service in the ALBEMARLE by computing them at the Mid Compliment of the ship.
