In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Service requires the speedy dispatch of HM Fire ships CYGNET and [HAWKE] and the Bomb Vessel PHOENIX refitting at Sheerness for service in the West Indies. They are to be fitted out for sea and provisioned without any loss of time. We also direct that the CYGNET to be furnished with men from the EAGLE guardship sufficient to provisioned and sailing her to the Buoy of the Nore then to be returned to their proper ship.
