Re you letter of 7th inst. Concerning the Petition of Captain Jacob Banks Commanding Officer of HMS PHOENIX for £40 as payment for the disbursements he incurred to his crew, and what was discussed at our meeting with you on Thursday last, we direct you to pay the Captain the said sum upon him making an Oath to the truth of his account was lost with the said ship.
