In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Ann Hart the Wife of Thomas Hart who was employed as Cooper to Service of the Victualling at Gibraltar and Cadiz has petition this Board for payment of £20 per year Salary for her Husbands service there over and above the like sum paid to him by the like sum paid to him by the Victualling Agents at those places. And it appearing by a report from the Com. of Victualling when Mr. Hart went on that Service, it was agreed he should have £40 a year allowed him, where £20 was to be paid by the Agent abroad and £20 to be paid to his Wife here in England. We direct you to give orders to the Com. for Victualling to pay such arrears of the said Salary of £40 to Thomas Hart that are due.
