In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I desire you to send me a copy of the warrant which is given by your Board to Masters of their Majesties' ships, and at the same time let me know whether it is the practise for the Clerks of the Cheque in the yards to enter men on ships without orders from your Board or from the Captains of them.
