In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Commissioners for Victualling have sent us copies of two letters to your Board of 28 and 31 October, concerning the difficulty in providing pease and oatmeal. You are directed to give order to the Commissioners to use the best means they can to provide pease for the men according to the usual allowance and to furnish oatmeal as much as they can supply the rest by fish.
