In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have confirmed the warrant given by the Rt Hon Edward Russell, Admiral of the Fleet, on 28 May 1692, for Thomas Sone to be Master Gunner of the CHARLES galley. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 18 November 1692.
