In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The King has signified his pleasure that one of the 6th Rate frigates be lent to the Post Office to be employed as a packet boat between Harwich and Holland. You are directed to have the GREYHOUND cleaned and refitted at Deptford and to be furnished with a Boatswain and Carpenter, and furnished with stores for 3 months. You are to have the men of the GREYHOUND, above the number of 50, turned over to the BOYNE, that being the complement for the GREYHOUND when in the service of the Post Office and to be paid and victualled at the charge of that office.
