In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Stephen Newell is to be appointed Master Sailmaker of the yard at Plymouth, to repair the sails of ships that refit there and also for making such sails. You are directed to be entered accordingly and to hold the place, together with such allowance of salary and privileges until further order. His warrant is to be dated 17 April 1693.
