In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter to our Secretary dated 19 April, sent a an estimate of the charge of making a small piece of wharf on the south side of the launch at Sheerness where the new ship is building, for defending the launch from surf. We return the estimate, amounting to £139.2.2 and direct you to have this done as soon as may be. We also return the estimate for recovering the remains of the EXETER, after she was accidentally burnt in the River Hamoze at Plymouth.
