In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of His Majesty's warrant to this Board dated 16 March 1693, you are directed to have a pension of £120 a year settled on Peter Chasseloup, a French sea officer and refugee, who served as a volunteer in the Navy in the years 1691/1692. His Majesty is pleased to allow him this pension for his encouragement, and until he can be provided for in some other way. The pension is to be borne on the Ordinary Estimate of the Navy and paid quarterly to commence from Christmas last, the bills to be signed on the Treasurer of the Navy for which this shall be your warrant dated 5 April 1693.
