In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The YORK has brought a French Privater called the Le Legere into Plymouth, said to be capable of carrying up to forty guns. If she is judged suitable as a Man-of-War, the Admiralty wishes to know how many guns she should be equipped with and at what Rate.
