In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Commissioners at Portsmouth have informed the Navy Board that due to the requirement of many of their senior personnel to attend a forthcoming trial in London, careening the VICTORY and repairing the CAMBRIDGE and SWIFTSURE, or cleaning any ships sent in by Admirals of the Fleet will be severely delayed. An Order is given for substitute Officers to be found and sent to Portsmouth.
