In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board have requested a convoy for a ship somewhere on the coast of Suffolkbut have not named the port. An answer is requested. A request has also been made for convoy of a ship in the Downs to Plymouth. Advice is given that the Kingfisher is about to convoy ships to Portsmouth and that she will then proceed as convoy to Plymouth.
