In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

In your letter of December 31st last you informed us that the Ship called the ROYAL GEORGE, lying in Mr Shish's Dock in the River Thames, is in a very good condition, and that she may be got ready in about three week's time.
We direct you to proceed to the hiring of her from the Owners at the best possible rates, to serve as a Man of War of the fifth Rate.
