In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have read your letter of the 17th inst; to this Board, together with the several Papers enclosed, containing what has passed between you and the Victualling Commissioners, concerning the hindrance which Ships sent into Port to refit are meeting with, in the taking out and putting on board again their Provisions.
We direct you, for preventing this for the future, to give Orders to the Commissioners to provide and have in constant readiness at each Port where their Majesties' Ships usually come in to refit, such a number of convenient Vessels as they judge necessary for the speedy taking out, recovering, and putting on board again the Provisions belonging to the said Ships.
