In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Having received from the Admirals, the Agent for Commissioning of the Victualling Accounts of provisions in the fleet, by which it appears that the same is far short of the proportion ordered for them when they first went to sea, which was four months at whole allowance, we send you the said account enclosed , and desire and direct you forthwith to make enquiry how it happens there is no more provisions in the fleete, in regard they have been at short allowance since the first of the last month, and transmit an account thereof to this Board.
