Your letter of 4 August advised us that the new 4th Rate building at Sheerness will be ready to be launched the first spring in September. We have named her the MEDWAY and you are directed to launch her accordingly and have her fitted out for sea for the Channel and manned to her highest complement of men and victualled for 4 months.
