In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
By the direction of this Board the sum of £600 was put into the hands of the Treasurer of the Navy by the owners of the TIGER, as reward to the Commander and company of the MARY and CHARLES galleys, for re-taking the TIGER from the enemy. Her Majesty's pleasure in Council, has been signified by an order of 3 August, that in consideration of the ship's cargo having been embezzled for want of due care by the officers of the MARY and CHARLES galleys, the sum of £600 should be repaid to the owners.
