In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In reply to your letter of 11 August about the WOLF, orders have been given for turning her company to the EAGLE. The Commander and officers must also be discharged, but I have not yet received their Lordships pleasure thereon. Your Board have also receive directions for turning over the BONADVENTURE's men, and their Lordships have determined that she should be furnished with men from the EAGLE when she is repaired. Your letter also mentioned the CORONATION and that she will carry 48 guns. The numbers you propose viz., 18 of 12 pounds, 22 sakers and 2 minions do not make that number and I pray you will enable me to set that matter right.
