In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The NEW AFRICA is ordered to sail from the Buoy of the Nore to Hambrough [Hamburg], and her Commander advises us by letter of 13 August, that he has not been supplied with his provisions. You are directed to give orders for the immediate hastening of provisions to the ship. You are also to make all possible dispatch in fitting the MILFORD for sea, as she and the PORTLAND are designed for Elsinore in a few days and they are to be supplied with the provisions ordered for them.
