In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Wisheart was removed from the PEARL into the MARY galley, in 1690, and was then immediately ordered away to Carrickfergus Roads to Dublin by Sir Cloudesley Shovell and had no opportunity to deliver the muster books and other papers to his successor. He took the first opportunity to deliver the books and papers, but these were lost with the DARTMOUTH at the Isle of Mull. You are directed to pay his wages for his service in the PEARL, provided you have no objections.
