In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Your letter of 22 August proposed that ships and vessels employed in the Irish Sea, should be mustered upon their coming to Liverpool and parts thereabouts, and that Mr Bourk, an ancient Purser, is proposed for that employment with a salary of £50 per annum. You are directed to have the £50 paid him as Muster Master in the port of Liverpool for which he is appointed.
