In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of her Majesty's pleasure, signified by Sir John Trenchard, Principal Secretary of State, in his letter today , we direct you to cause such Stores and Provisions as are necessary for for refitting the Fleet under the command of Admiral Russell in Cadiz Bay, to be got ready with all possible expedition, that in case her Majesty shall think fit to direct that Fleet is to remain this next Winter in those Seas, you may be in readiness to supply them timely with all materials that are requisite to be sent.
Such Stores as you shall judge the Fleet will have soonest occasion of, to be got ready in the first place.
