In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the great Machine Vessels, so soon as they have taken in the two Machines from the YOUNG LADY and the WHITE POTT at Deptford, as also the twelve Vessels with the little Machines, and any other Vessels in the River which you were directed to provide by our Orders of the 16th last month, to be carried down to the Buoy of the Nore by the Ordinary of the Navy or otherwise as you shall think best, to be left in charge of the C-in-C of the Ships there.
You are to order Captain Aston, Master Attendant on Floats, to look after the performance of this service and to give this Board a daily account in writing of the proceedings of the said vessels, and of what delays or obstructions he meets with getting them down to the Nore.
