In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Treasury Commissioners did at several times in February and March last appoint money to be issued at the Exchequer to the Navy Treasurer out of the Second in Aid for satisfying Bills of Exchange drawn on him by Colonel Kendall and Colonel Codrington from the West Indies amounting to £3508.9.11. Their Lordships upon application made by you have since directed that money shall be applied for imprests and to answer other Bills of Exchange relating to the Navy. The foregoing Bills shall be satisfied out of other money which they have since assigned or put into his hands for that purpose.
