In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Upon consideration of your letter of the 7th inst; concerning the SEA FLOWER we direct you to hire her to serve as an Advice Boat on the terms proposed. You opine that she should be allowed thirty five Men and eight Guns and you are to establish her accordingly. She is to be fitted out for Channel service at the charge of her Owners, and you are to victual her for two months service.
