Upon consideration of your Report to this Board dated the 14th August concerning the Petition of David Bartlett, Master of the HUMBER, stating that he had a Warrant for the said Ship dated the 17th January 1693, and was employed as a Tender from the 14th February following, and praying Wages from the time he entered on board the Ketch, notwithstanding the Ship was not launched till some time after.
We direct you to cause him to be paid his Wages as Master of the HUMBER from the 14th February (the day he entered aboard the Tender) accordingly.
