In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The ST JOHN, a Prize, has been brought into Plymouth and declared suitable as an Advice Boat. A copy of a survey is enclosed and instructions are given for her to be purchased and an estimate of the number of Men and Guns required to crew and equip her is to be submitted. The new Brig building at Woolwich is to be launched in the Spring pending orders for fitting out. She is to named the INTELLIGENCE. Captain Bartholemew Clements Master Attendant at Kinsale is to be re-imbursed for postage costs incurred in sending letters to DIngle Bay and other places in Ireland.
