A Thomas Gibbon has proposed a form of dry dock which can be towed to sea where, in moderate weather, a ship taking in water could be docked and saved from sinking. The Admiralty require an opinion and report, and requiring the SEVERN now building at Blackwall to be provided with a recruiting tender.
