In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Having received a letter from Lord Berkeley, Admiral of the Fleet, giving an account of what the Butchers near Torbay offer to kill fresh Provisions for the Fleet, we are sending herwith an extract of the said letter, and direct you to communicate the same to Victualling Commissioners, and order them to make the best provision they can of fresh meat for for the Fleet while in Port, according to the directions already given them.
