In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Having granted Warrants to William Maunder, William Cornwall and John Matthews, appointing them Boatswain, Gunner and Carpenter of the Pink PARAMOUR for the better performance of the voyage on which she is going under the command of Mr Edmund Haley, these Officers are to be paid by the persons who are concerned with him.
We direct you to take sufficient security for him for the payment of the said Officers before you pass their Warrants at your Office , which Warrants are hereby sent to you.
In case the OXFORD can be put into a condition in ten days or thereabouts for a voyage to Newfoundland, you are to cause her to be fitted accordingly with all possible dispatch.
