In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I have laid before the Admiralty Commissioners your letter of the 3rd inst; and in answer thereto I inform you that Orders have been sent to the C-in C at the Downs to put Men aboard the six Well Boats at Dover to carry them to Portsmouth, and order the first Men of War bound westwards to Convoy them there, so that you will give the necessary Orders for putting them in a condition to proceed there accordingly.
