In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have received a letter from Lord Berkeley, Admiral of the Fleet, in which he gives an account that there is great scarcity of Butter and Cheese in the Fleet, and repeats his complaint at the lack of fresh Provisions during his continuing in Port, even for the sick Men. We are sending an extract of this letter and direct you to forthwith give the strictest Orders to the Victualling Commissioners that they make provision without any delay for the same.
