In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Rear Admiral Benbow has informed us by his letter of the 15th inst; that the Squadron under his command has not above forty five days Provisions. We direct you to cause to be timely provided at Dover such a quantity of victuals for the said Squadron as may be necessary, so that they may be furnished therewith, without any loss of time when they return to the Downs from Convoying the Merchant ships bound to the East Country, which they will do so soon as they have seen the said Merchant Ships to safety.
