In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Treasury Commissioners having read your letter or Report of the 10th inst; concerning the Ship load of Naval stores imported from New England by Sir Henry Ashurst and Sir Stephen Evance, pursuant to an Order of Council in that behalf, they direct you to make a Bill for such of the said Goods as are actually delivered into his Majesty's Stores according to the Invoice mentioned in your Report (although it is not signed) abating only 25% upon the first cost of the Goods in New England, for the difference of the Money paid there, the Commissioners being satisfied that the Money for insurance, interest, feight, tonnage and customs ought to have no reduction made.
You are to assign the said Bill for payment upon such Money as their Lordships shall appoint for the same.
