In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I am directed to inform you that the LION, together with the VULCAN and BLAZE Fireships are ordered as Convoy to the East Country Ships, and the former needing Provisions, not being able to complete out of the Ships at the Nore to above twenty eight days, you should direct a supply of Provisions to be sent to her accordingly, and Pilots for that voyage.
