In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Lord Berkeley, Admiral of the Fleet, informs us that he has received a Petition from the Pursers of the Ships which lately returned from ther Straits, praying that their Accounts may be made up. We send you a Copy of the Petition and desire you will give Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to appoint a Person to make up the Accounts and indent the Pursers.
He has also informed us that the Seamen returned from the Straits are very uneasy for the short allowance Money due to them. The Treasury Commissioners ask that you direct the Victualling Commissioners to solicit their Lordships for Money.
The Masters of the empty Victualling Ships coming from Portsmouth to the River should come under the Convoy of the LYON.
Lord Berkeley also informs there is a particular shortage of Beer in the Fleet.
