In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to sign Bills on the Treasurer of the Navy for paying Captain John Norris, late Commander of the CARLISLE, Captain Caleb Grantham, late Commander of the FALMOUTH, and Captain Charles Cornwall, late Commander of the ADVENTURE, the allowances directed to be made for the Guns and Tonnage of Ships taken by them
from the Enemy, the CONTENT and TRIDENT.
The allowance is to be divided between the said Captains and the other Officers and Men who belonged to the CARLISLE, FALMOUTH and ADVENTURE at the time of the taking of the French Ships.
