Eight certificates of conduct for Surgeon James Porter (IMPREGNABLE, 1886; BELLEROPHON, HIMALAYA, DUKE OF WELLINGTON, and MARATHON, all 1889; VICTORY, 1892; TERROR, 1894 and 1895); subfolder containing 16 photographs, several of scenes from a theatrical production dated 1893; 5 letters, dates unclear, one is signed and can be linked to a photograph of a Mr Carr in the photograph subfolder; three pieces of ephemera (booklet of images titled "Recollections of Worcester", a programme for Spar Yard Theatre, Ireland Island, Bermuda, and a card for a London fan maker; subfolder labelled "BRITANNIA 1895-7" containing two certificates of conduct for Porter on the BRITANNIA, 1897, a postcard and a portrait photograph, a continuous service record for Porter covering 1891 to 1897, and a page of notes.
