Letters received by Lady Porter, July-August 1915, largely from her husband, writing from HM Hospital Yacht LIBERTY. There are also a few of letters to Sir James, two from W.G.K. Barnes on hospital ship VALDIVIA, who asks for Porter's advice about a crew he considers to be incompetent.
