In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The RESOLUTION, DEFIANCE, MONMOUTH, DUNKIRK and ST PAUL fireship, having been ordered to the Gunfleet and from there are to proceed on service without delay. You are directed to have a quantity of provisions sent to them, sufficient to complete what they have to 10 weeks. You are to give your opinion as to whether the main fleet should be put on short allowance of provisions with regard to the quantity now on board.
