In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
William Gear, late Carpenter of THE MACHINE fireship, is to be appointed Master Carpenter of the FOWEY in place of the former deceased. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 8 July 1696.
