We have confirmed a warrant given by Captain Thomas Kenney, Commander of the SWAN, dated 6 April 1696, to Richard Scurlock to be Boatswain. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 10 July 1696.
