In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

An account of some abuses offered to some officers of His Majesty's ships by soldiers of the Portsmouth garrison, and hardships put on them by the Lieutenant Governor. Their Lordships of the Admiralty, having received complaints of a like nature, think it necessary to lay before the Lords Justices an account that they be pleased to order such directions to the Lieutenant Governor to prevent such disorder in the future.
