In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Captain of the SHEERNESS at Barnstaple has advised us in his letter of 25 July that he has but 10 days provisions and no beer, having been forced to drink water. You are to give us an account of where the ship may best be revictualled and direct the Commissioners of the Victualling to take all possible care of the men's subsistence until they arrive there.
